Title: Does OS 3.5 needs ROM 3.1 ?

I know OS3.9 needs ROM 3.1, but
does OS 3.5 needs ROM 3.1 or only 3.0 ?

I've tried to install 3.5 on an 3.0 A1200 and I got a message that said it needs rom 3.1

This was about a year ago.

OS 3.5 also needs OS 3.1 ROMs to be completely functional.

Of Course, YES. OS 3.5/3.9 need kickstart 3.1 to run. Its possible do (electronics shops) make a eprom with rom 3.5 (44.10) and put on your amiga too

Would this be the fake 3.5 ROM, or has someone gotten around to removing some of the old libs and devices from the ROM and inserting the newer ones?

Isn't there a way to emulate Amiga OS 3.9/.5 ona 3.0 ROM i heard about?!

Yes, you'll need the 3.1 ROM. That's when I bought it for my trusty A4000D :-D Great enhancement, really enjoyed the change from the patched 3.0, to the brand new OS (now I'm looking forward to buying the OS4!!!)

As for the ROM 3.5, must be the 3.1 with the "Devs/AmigaOS ROM Update modules" in it.
