Title: Any local (Melbourne) Amiga repairers? (Audio capacitor issue!)
Post by: mingle on April 18, 2010, 03:11:30 PM
Hi again,

Looks like my A4000D has a dodgy left audio channel (faint/crackly) so it will need fixing...

Do any Aussie members know of repairers who could diagnose and fix the damn thing? :-)

I suspect it's the well-known leaky capacitor issue, but I'm not confident enough with SMD soldering to risk having a go myself...

Cheers,

Mike.

Thanks for that - I'm onto it! :-)

That's great, I was wondering if there was anyone left in Oz who could repair Amiga's.
