Hey, would I be able to do that with a 2091 or a 2630 or a 2058 or would it only work on a 2320!?!??!

Whats up with all your bad feedback? 1 or 2 is normal but you seem to piss someone off every 10-20 items?

Yeah Tone... you can "mod" any cards backplane by drilling a hole into it and adding a switch. lol  Helps if you have a Kickstart switcher too...

This looks pretty cool, but more info would be nice. What's curious about this board is that there's no circuitry on it at all (unless its all on the underside). No way that simple switch (can't see how many poles it has) is enough to entirely deactivate the other ROM... is it?

@ thread

1. You can do it to any board like was said just drill the holes and solder it in., This one is particularly clean though

2. Negative feedback? You try selling hundreds of electronics on ebay and get people scamming you and crazy amiga ppl and morons who dont know about ESD and see what happens to you... You forget my 378 rating? wake up

3. The Rom board installs in the ROM socket on the motherboard, the wires just short the pins to switch the rom..

Wouldn't even spoil the - rare - A2320 bracket by putting a hole into it. I've put all my switches on a plain vanilla bracket that I could throw out any time.

The switch switches the Chip enable signal, which is enough to activate/deactivate a ROM ...

Zac

Well, its not like the mod if removed ruins the structural integrity of the backplane of the card.... :?

..but you'd get more if you sold the ROM switcher and the scandoubler separately!  Buyer might not even notice the extra hole in the 2320.
