Hi,
I have a CF card with Workbench 3.1 already installed on it. I started WinUAE (version 1.6.1) with the -disablehardrivesafetycheck flag. However the Add Hard Drive button still remains disabled!! Does anyone know why this is happening? What I remember is that I just needed the flag -disablehardrivesafetycheck to make this work. I am working on Windows7 64 bit!

Add Harddrive needs administrator rights. Right-click on WinUAE and select "Run as Administrator" from the menu.
You don't need disable... if the medium is already Amiga-formatted.

Do not post into the beta thread without reading the netiquette. It is not allowed to post non-beta related problems into the beta thread. Problems regarding version 1.6.1 are definitely not related to 2.1 beta.

Thanks that worked fine ... had forgotten that I need to run as administrator. I thought once I put the flag windows would ask me on its own if I want to run as administrator (at least that is what it used to do on Vista :) thanks.

Good to know :)

Yep sorry: I give this link only to write to Tony !
And...is it "-disablehardrivesafetycheck" or "-disableharddrivesafetycheck" ?? :)

It's hard drive, not har drive.
