Are there any PureBasic users here?
What do you think of the application?
I wanted to find out about it before I buy it.
Thanks.
-
You could just download the full version and unLZX it rather than buying it. See http://www.purebasic.com/download.php for details.
-
Thanks.
I will check it out.

It's been many, many years since used the product. I do recall that I never liked one of the early constructs that required you to use the let keyword, e. g. let x = 1 or something like that... That lasted about a hour before I went back to using AmigaBasic.

Woah!!! I didn't know something like this existed on Amiga.
Or if I did I forgot.
They say the Amiga version is deprecated. Oh man!!
They also add that a PPC version is on standby.
So which is it?
-
On another page they say that it has PPC compatability.
-
I've used the PC version off and on for years and it's a great product.

Pure basic for amiga os is not update since 2002 and i think many programs that run on newer pure basic do not work on amiga OS purebasic.amiga OS purebasic have also no FPU support.
because the most work to do is make the API ogre 3d availible fpr amiga OS.
if they write a PPC compiler i dont believe, because since Apple move away from PPC and there are few and fewer PPC systems, if the sell of the AOS PPC version bring in money for the work is near impossible.

I can see them not doing PPC. It Would be nice if they had AOS4 and Aros versions.
Aros is picking up speed, at least some speed, maybe just maybe.
