Hi!
We urgently need more graphic artists for our game project. There are many units (ships, tanks, infantry, etc.) and buildings (church, industry, harbour, etc.) to paint. Also our GUI should have a redesign...
Here is a screenshot of the current Alphaversion:

This game is a mix out of CIVILIZATION and COLONIZATION. More Information on our Homepage:

When we don´t get more help, this project will fail (and I don´t want that it fail...)

There seems to be a big shortage of Gfx artists in Amiga land :-(
I have been looking for texture artists/3D modellers/animator, and no success.
Seems there are lots of coders still on the Amiga but good graphicians are few and far between.
-
I can only help in 3D animation.
If you are interested, mail me.

get in touch with SCENIC , they should have the man/girl power to helpout i guess..
-

@lempkee:
Sorry, but who or what is SCENIC?
And where can I find him/them?
-
I answered over at AW, check the link I gave there. Could be
worth a shot.

micha:Scenic is the GFX team on amiga, all talented gfx people in one team who work for other teams , its a scene oriented team.
Scenic amiga in google should probably give you some answers.

here is a quick reference..
(they have a website also...)

The game looks great, and I would have loved to help out, but due to working and studying at the same time, my spare time is very limited :-(
Besides, I've mostly been using Brilliance (pixeling) and it's a pain to use together with the scandoubler. Anyone that can recommend a program to replace Brilliance with?
Damn, feel guilty already...
-
If you're intending to sell the game, then don't forget that Creation Studios (http://www.creationstudio.co.uk/) have offered to help with GFX (see this article (http://www.amigaflame.com/amicrst.htm)).
-
I'll offer conceptual sketches, but you're on your own for the graphics. Sadly, I don't use my Amithlon box now, since I had a hard drive crash. As soon as I get my replacement drive, I might be able to help with the 2D, but most of my graphics are pen and ink, transferred to photoshop.
It's a great looking game. I'd love to see it in all it's glory some day.

micha: yeah and btw your game looks very interesting indeed, i have messaged scenic people and i hope they have contacted you by now..

lempkee : when did you send us a message ? we havn't heard anything from you.. i only noticed this thread by accident..:)
micha:"Sorry, but who or what is SCENIC?

Hi micha - scenic was founded pixSCN and myself a few years ago, and is a pure gfx-group. Currently we have 12 members - high quality 2d and 3d-graphicians.
Most of the scenic-members are making gfx/design as their full-time job, either in game-companies or as freelancers.
Scenic is a fun project where these graphicians work for free - providing gfx to other demogroups on amiga and pc. We do not make gfx to commercial projects - only scene-related productions.
At the moment we are working on a gfx-theme based on 1920'ies gangsters. Our homepage is not ready yet, but it will be put online eventually.
Here is a link to one of our productions :

Im afraid Scenic as a group isn't able to help you with this game-project. As i said, most of the members are making games full-time - and making game-related gfx in their sparetime too would be a bit overkill ;)
Still, good luck with your game-development! the screenshot looks sweet! :)
