I need a 1084 monitor.
IT CANT be a 1084S-D1 model.
Any other one is fine.
or any other monitor that is comparable, like a CM8803 philips....
I live in USA, so international people: I'll have to pass on any offers because the shipping will be B-R-U-T-A-L
thank you!

Save room for one of these 27" monsters!

does it support RGB + CSYNC?!??1112233
-
...probably. Send me an MSX or whatever and I'll test it!
-
can the 1084 or 1080 do interlaced modes without flickering?
-
No, though the phosphors in 1080s are supposed to be a bit more persistent than later models.
-
well bugger then. can you suggest a non flickery monitor that won't cost a fortune? Normaly I wouldn't hijack a thread like this, but whatever.
-
CRTs generally don't have built-in flicker fixers. Some LCD TVs do, but they're not cheap and you'd probably be stuck using composite. Best bet is a scandoubler/flicker fixer if you absolutely need interlaced modes.
-
OK! This is the MARKETPLACE, not the "technical info" category.
Back to me needing a 1084 or compatible!
:madashell::madashell::madashell::madashell:
If you (Hell Labs) want to ask about monitors, make a new, relevant thread in the right category. Don't be all "whatever" about it. Thats dumb.

Unfortunately not Sir!

I'm in the process of getting some of my systems and other items ready for offering here @ A.org. I believe I have both a 1084 & 1084S. I'm out of town at the moment, but will be back tomorrow. I will verify the model and get back with you. I'm also hunting down a A4000 mobo for another member so it will give me cause to start pulling out some of my inventory.

I have an extra 1080, in the original box even.
PM me with an offer. Shipping will be from Kansas City, MO.

How about a SVHS solution from www.amigamaniac.com (http://www.amigamaniac.com) with an LCD.
Supposedly these are great with an LCD TV with SVHS, rock solid display no flicker, etc.
I hopefully get mine next week!

*BUMP*
Apparently, it cant be a 1080 either.
so I still need a 1084 monitor, but it has to be either the 1084S-P1, or the 1084/1084S with the 6 pin DIN on it.
Please help me!

can the 1084 or 1080 do interlaced modes without flickering?
No. Convert it to S-Video and use a modern TV. Works with my 128 in 80 column mode interlace. The 128 needs a small modification, Amiga will not.

man, here I think theres a relevant reply and the possibility of a monitor, and its just a big ol' photo and post in relation to thread stealer McBedwetter.
can we get that stuff out of this thread, and into its own? Preferably not in the marketplace :D
