How do you use the flash memory on the Deneb USB board to hold a cutom Rom?
I'm trying to update the 3.1 Rom (40.68) in my A4000D with the BB2 update using the Deneb to avoid the re-boot for the rom update. I've split out the components of the BB2 update using RomSplit and have coppied the separate components into the flash memory on the Deneb. I've updated the startup sequence to stop the rom update loading using setpatch Noromupdate. But when I re-boot I get a red guru - softwar failure and then I'm stuck in a re-boot cycle.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks

That's the correct process, so I'm not sure what's wrong. Check the Luciferin and modules docs - there might be some code you need to strip out of one of the modules (the tool is included).

Thanks. I got it working, I had further patches being activated in my startup-sequence and needed to make additional changes to the startup-sequence to get it to work. Its working now.
