It'd be Thief (3)
-
I'd like to see Mega lo Mania... oh, wait!
-
No serious
I've bought the original Thief when it was no more then one day in the stores.
It has a brilliant atmosphere and a slow but intense gameplay. Also the cutsense make more than sense, these make a huge contribution to the atmosphere.
*sigh* my original copy is a bit scratched :-(
-
I was bought Theif 2 as a present a couple of ago. That was fun. I got stuck on the last level so I had to use the cheat to finish it though.
-
UT is the only one i really want atm....
-
UT is just another shoot 'em up, there are just too many shoot 'em ups, or rather: there is a serious lack of difference between shoot 'em ups.
-
UT ROXXX!
-
@bloodline
Yeah, I had to cheat also with the first
I considered Thief 2 as being a datadisk, since there was no extra gaming-elements in it
(since the first Thief I could not awe anymore)
-
Turrican 4 (well, I know, it doesn't exist, but this is what I'd like to see)...
-
or Ascendancy anyone?
-
The difference is that normal shooters are sooo boring, while UT and CS are just too good. :-)
And good old Ascendancy is also fantastic. :-)
-
UT (Unreal Tournament) and CS (Counter Strike) real good? hmmm... (not sarcastic, rather curious) I always think atmosphere is a real important (if not the most) aspect of a game. Thief and Ascendancy both have that, as well as Disciples 2, wich I really would like to see also on the Amiga.
Both shooters stated I think they lack that part.
And you just hide, run, jump and aim and pull the trigger like any other shoot 'em up.
What else is it that makes them better then other shooters?
-
Elasto Mania
and
Liero
is the only 2 games
with enough playability and fun
to bother with.
-
I would like to see an attempt at a 3D platformer which would be WarpUP/3D supported. It doesn't have to be a port of an existing game, but something entirely new...hehe sure... :-)
-
I know it may never see the light of day on any platform, but id like to see Elite 4! :-D :-)
-
I'd love to see UT and CS of course they are a must have, as far as FPS (frames per second ;-) ) games go they have a very Amiga feel to them .....as in they have playability :-D !!
Right now my most wanted is BF1942 so we can all play Desert Combat this game is growing faster than Half Life did and is already the 3rd most played game on the net!! :-o
That would be a massive boost for the AmigaOne.
oh well wishing really hard!!

I wholeheartedly agree. I play BF1942 w/DC mod all the time on my friends Wintel. It is GREAT. Battlefield Vietnam is coming out, with even more features. I would love to see the mods for that. Also, the Battlefield series was created by none other than Digital Illusions (http://global.dice.se/), the coders responsible for Pinball Dreams/Fantasies/Illusions on our blessed Amiga.

The old Doom, Hexen and Quake games just gave me frustration and headache, unlike UT and SC, which I feel have as much atmosphere as any of the other all-time greatest games. This is mostly caused by the strong feeling of being part of a team, even if you only have bots to play with, especially the UT bots are totally sweet. But these games do have some really fast action, and that will ofcourse not appeal to anyone. Before UT and SC I was so tired of 3D games that I just ran away if I saw someone play anything with 3D in it. :-D
And yes, give us Elite 4! :-D
-
Also Dark Forces/Jedi Knight?
those were the only 3d shooters I really liked
-
cool 8-) ,didnt know that they once had been involved in the Amiga games scene, guess that explanes why BF1942 plays so well........most programers that did Amiga games know you need playability and that ethos would stand out in the PC world where games with great stories and lots a graphics reign supreme unchecked by stuff thats realy action packed and PLAYS!!! :-P
(with the exceptions of the 1st Quake and the 1st Unreal Tournament) :-D
oh and how about a FA-18 Interceptor II :-D :-D :-D
-
@Panthro
Not only were they involved in making games for the Amiga, they were also part of the Amiga demo scene before that... known as The Silents.
-
I'd like to see a Command & Conquor Generals type game.
-
Less I forget Grim Fandango
-
Scorced Tanks :P
Alien Breed M$ tower assult :D
