I'm acquiring the bits to adapt an A2000 accelerator card to an A500. It's going to connect to the side Zorro slot to start off with and hopefully develop from there - I just want to get it working first. Basically, comparing the A2000 CPU slot pinouts to the A500 Zorro pinouts, they are VERY similar, with only 4 pins different.
I just need to get a bit of an idea of how different/important/necessary to connect these pins are...
A500 pin 9 is not connected - A2000 CPU slot pin 9 28mhz clock
A500 pin 20 PALOPE - A2000 CPU slot pin 20 BOSS
A500 pin 60 BR - A2000 CPU slot pin 60 CBR
A500 pin 64 BG - A500 CPU slot pin 64 CBG
Can anyone shed some light?

Hmmmm - I wanted to build the fastest 68k A500 using an 060 accelerator board for the A2000.
For that project I bought the Micronik Zorro II busboard (http://www.amiga-resistance.info/bboahfaq/index.php?action=artikel&cat=77&id=3560&artlang=de) when Micronik withdrew from the Amiga market, which provides an A2000 CPU Fast Slot, where I wanted to plug in the accelerator.
Unfortunately I never found the time to realise this project - so the busboard still lies in a locker - still "brandnew" and unused...

If you ever consider selling this.... :)

I remember I attached an A2630 accelerator about ten years ago to an A500. It worked. Two things are important: double checking conections and keeping cables as short as possible, to avoid signal degradation.
I cant remember the exact way i did the wiring, but i did it by looking to the Amiga Hardware Reference Manual, and that was basically it.
Before you attempt a hack like this one i recomend you get yourself a proper card edge conector/cpu slot, both available in ebay from time to time at about 10 USD each.
Think about fixing the accelerator board in a specififc place and not moving it, or you will end up unsoldering your wiring.
Good Luck and happy hacking! :)
