Will these work on the A1200 or A600 if so can they be configured as fast ram?

I dont know if they could work, but if like they say it is a flashcard, then it will as slow as a snail if possible to use.
My take: you will be better of with a pcmcia 2/4MB sram card, as it will be faster (not as fast as real expansion memory, but it is better than nothing).

They have SRAM cards on the same site http://www.synchrotech.com/products/sram-pcmcia-pc_cards-01.html
But I'm not sure if those are compatible, but they seem to be. Only up to 4MB will work with the Amiga, so it'd b best to grab one of those. Provided they're compatible, they'll be configured as FastRAM by default, or you can use PrepCard to make sure of it. On an A600 you'll get a very small speed boost, on an A1200 your system will slow down, but have more RAM at least.

Nope, but these (http://www.synchrotech.com/products/sram-pcmcia-pc_cards-01.html) (probably) can. It's SRAM that you want. Those prices are absurd, though. I paid $25 for a 4MB card a number of years ago.

They're smoking crack through a pipe if they think I'm gonna pay what they ask..
Well it's offically cheaper to send my Minimig to Amigakit for the 4 meg uprade then is is to upgrade the ram on my real A600.
Why are the trap door epansions only 1 meg?
Thanks for looking guys!

That's the maximum that those lines can address - same reason the A500 trapdoor can only do 512K. Those multi-meg A500 trapdoor expansions address different lines (Fast RAM, rather than Chip) through a secondary connection to Gary (usually). That wasn't a practical option with the A600's surface-mount design.

That made me giggle... My Amitek 4MB PCMCIA card cost £179.99p in 1994. Still works.
