As some of you may know I have a site for the Amiga Anniversary and I would like people out there to tell me of any parties, shows or anything else they are planning to celbrate the Amiga 1000 25th birthday in June.
This site http://www.amiga25.com is there for people to hopefully bump into or be lead and it is aiming to show what is happening in Amiga Land.
Please let me know here or by email to clusteruk@hotmail.com and point me to your site to let people know what is going on to celebrate.
A small intro could be sent or I will make something from your information.
Many thanks.
Steve

It would be like attending a funeral.
Seriously, if there are any events in Sydney someone let me know.

Darn, wish I hadn't sold my hearse. I could fit alot of Amigas in there.

ROTFLMAO!
I've often considered buying a hearse to haul pinball machines around in. They're the perfect vehicles for it and they're usually extremely well maintained to boot!
-
You know, I'm surprised I don't see more lowrider hearses. They'd be the perfect pimpmobile. Lots of room in the back for conducting buisness.

One thing to remember at the party is of course the cake. Maybe one that looks a bit like this:

Who said: "the cake is a lie?"
Maybe we can sing "Still Alive" as a birthday tune. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9mg6wrYCT9Q (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9mg6wrYCT9Q)

Unfortunately the song "still alive" is about Portal, a game you can't play on the Amiga.
-
I will take that as a no then :-)

True, but Eric W. Schwartz didn´t own or play the game. And it´s not just about the game but about a poor misunderstood computer being slightly insane. Nice fit. ;-)
You just have to love Johnathan Coultons tunes.
Besides, you can´t sing along to "Only Amiga" in this day and keep a straight face, can you?

LoL I would say Amiga is not insane at all, it's more like an innocent victim of circumstance who was thrown in a maximum security prison and the key thrown away.
Amiga is innocent
(luckily not being on that side of the Atlantic, I didn't have to endure such cheesy rubbish like 'only Amiga')
