Hi all,
I just bought me a Iomega SCSI ZIP drive (zip100) for in my A4000. I want to replace one of the 3,5" floppy drives with this ZIP drive for more storage on disks ;)
My Amiga has a CyberSCSI and HDToolBox for cyberscsi does see the ZIP disk, but I'd rather leave it in FAT so I can exchange stuff with my pc easily. (At the moment I upload stuff to my server, start Miami deluxe, start aweb and download it. Or burn a cd.) But ZIP is easier for all those fiddly small files, but I guess I might be needing a driver.
I searched Aminet but didn't find anything.
The goal is:
Amiga recognising the ZIP100 SCSI (internal) and be able to exchange files with the PC.
Thanks in advance!

try crossdos or fat95.

Do I need a separate ZIP drive dossdriver or just one of these and it'll work?

What OS are you running? 3.9 has the MS0 and MS1 icons in Devs:storage. I had thought those might be the drivers you need. Might be wrong though... but try placing them in Devs:DosDrivers and reboot of course. If you're using the Iomega in the 2nd drive bay, I'm thinking MS1 might be your ticket...

It's the A4000 in my signature, so yeah, still good old OS 3.9 with bb2.
I'll try that then ;)

This installation actually had ZIP and ZIPC in storage, mounted them: I had full ZIP and PC formatted ZIP support (without rebooting). AmigaOS keeps on amazing me everytime.
I've put them in DEVS:Dosdrivers and now it works everytime. Great!
Now if I only could find back my lost USB ZIP drive :P

Oh yeah, there's specific icons that say Zip too is what you're saying? Not by my machine right now. So the MS0 icons didn't do the trick? What are they for I wonder?
