I've owned a SAM 440 since around Xmas 2008, and I seem to recall that the rear metal IO port plate was not finished when the first SAM mobos were being sold, but would be shipped out when done to purchasers when the retailers got them in (I ordered my SAM from Amigakit, which is a recommended shop in my books). Haven't heard a word on the status of these trim plates, and can't seem to get anyone to get back to me to see if these are available.
I like my SAM, but the lack of the little finish tin plate makes the entire rig look very unprofessional. I spent 4 months making a custom "Walker" casemod for this little SAM rig which I use for a telnet BBS, and the only ugly thing about it atm is the lack of this plate, there's just a gaping hole on the hindquarters of the case :(
Thanks all, in advance.

I'd like to see some pix of the case that you designed. People still use BBS's? I wasn't aware.

@ Duce
just send Amigakit an email and they'll get you the backplate :-)

About time! It's good to see they're willing to fulfill their promises.

It is best to send us a Support Ticket (not email) when we announce we have received them from ACube.

Brrrrrrilliant! I've been missing mine as well. Now all I need is an internal PSU that works, because the PicoPSU doesn't, so I'm stuck with an external full-size ATX.
Any suggestions, btw?

Super, thanks much for the reply. Will contact Amigakit once they post a note.
