Title: Hard Drive Failure?

I have a 73 gig HD connected to Cyberstorm PPC scsi. All has been fine for a couple of years and yesterday I came home from work and fired up the amiga to find every partition on the drive is now write protected. Any idea of how this could have changed and I am open to any solutions to fix the problem.

I am in the process of moving everything over to another HD.

What file system? Its more likely to be file system corruption if you can still read from the disks.
Is it FFS? Is it trying to revalidate the partitions?

Smart file system. I can still read everything fine but all partitions are write protected. I think I will move everything over to another drive then reformat this drive.
