Hi,
Has anyone had any experience from this company.
I filled out the form and ordered an Amiga CD32 and have not heard anything from this company in regards to the order being sent, nor have they replied to my emails.
It has been almost a week or so now and would like to know anyone else's experiences.
Cheers!

Hi,
Have you spoken to the sales department by phone?
I only spoke to them last week regarding Ram expansion
-
No, I haven't (I'm in Australia), but I went through and got a confirmation email from them that I had purchased the item, but have not heard anything since, the payment has not been deducted from my credit card and my email has not been replied to.

Hey :) just wondering why you didn't buy one of the ones off of ebay? They are NOS (new old stock) from the philipines factory (now sold from china) as far as I know.

I have been warned off the ones from China as they're only NTSC and Australia is PAL and believe there are problems trying to play PAL games (the majority) on a NTSC system. Unless this is not the case???

Hi TG,
I'm just in Melbourne and have a genuine Aussie (PAL) CD32 with PSU, manual and controller that I was going to put up on fleabay...
PM me if you're interested...
Cheers,
Mike.

I had heard a while back about people having issues with their orders being delivered. I'd phone them and then failing that contact your credit card company.

AmigaKit still have CD32s, too.

Oh yes, quite a bit.

And you never will.

Tried ordering an 030 accelerator for a CD32 from them way back when. All they ever did was string me along "Oh, well it didn't come in this week, maybe next". I spoke to the woman as well as someone claiming to be the manager. In the end I gave them up as a bad lot. My experience with them was not unique. This went on over the course of several months.
Honestly I thought they would have done the decent thing and crawled back into whatever hole they came from. Seems they're still stringing folk along regarding stock they have never had and never will have.
Seriously folks - avoid them and get your stuff elsewhere. You'll save yourself a whole lot of time and frustration.

This is surprising, as I bought a NOS A1200 from Analogic last year and they were very professional. I always remember them being very good back in the day too. Perhaps their service is inconsistent and I just got lucky :(

Well they look to have amigakit beat on price there. A nos 1200 from amigakit is about £179.20 with mouse, software. analogic? £115.00. Both with postage.:hammer:
So really, throw a dice, save money, or get nothing.

There haven't been any NTSC CD32s from China on eBay for a little while now. I do regular searches on eBay for Amiga and CD32 stuff and it looks like someone bought up every remaining unit in a short time. :(
-
I sent them an A1200 MB for repair, it came back with the same faults and the securing screws missing. Gave the women my postcode so they could arrange the pickup and they sent the courier to North Yorkshire. My brother sent them his A4000T and that came back faulty and with the tower case damaged in transit.

Blimey... Thinking about it, is it Analogic who failed to return a lot of stuff they had sent in for repairs and it turned out they operated from a shed in some bloke's garden?

Maybe that's where they get the stuff they have for sale. It "goes missing".
-
After having a quick look on their website I can't even get their search to work to bring up any Amiga stuff.
-
Their site has been broken for a while now.

Who needs a search function?

But yeah, that site barely works. I keep expecting to be buried under a pile of bad php at any moment.
If amigakit sees that image they'll shit a brick.

That drop down doesn't work for me; they seem to have something available on the shelf:

I just ran a search, closest thing I found was a third party megadrive pad they wanted £18 plus p&p for. madness. (http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/catalog/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=cd32)

Oops, they had them online a few days ago. My mistake, I should have double checked.

For what It's worth I've found the indivision AGA for a1200 on there once, even though it was already sold out. Was a bit odd.
-
As you're in Australia just check the postage that they'll be charging you. I've had one (and my last) dealing with this company and the freight price they charged over the actual shipping cost on the box when it arrived was an absolute joke. Numerous emails to explain their shipment pricing policy went unanswered.
Items arrived as ordered but just watch the shipping cost.
I also bought a new CD32 from 'sixrice' on eBay and it arrived as ordered so he can be trusted. I swapped the guts out of it with a shabby PAL CD32 I had so that took care of the PAL/NTSC issue and I ended up with s shiny new PAL CD32 :)
-
Well I've sent them off another email, saying if the postage cost to Australia is more than 15 pounds as quoted, to cancel my order. Will see how it goes.

How many 1200's do you have?
-
Helllabs,
Even selecting CD32 and A1200 computers takes me to their search function instead of what is displayed on your screen grab.
