Title: A1200 & accelerator card
Post by: jenfry on February 21, 2010, 12:43:06 PM
Hi :)

I don't remember the name of the accelerator board that fits into my A1200; it hasn't any marks and after 15 years I really don't remember...
I switched on the system but the real time clock doesn't work, even if I change the battery.
This is the picture of the card: (http://img535.imageshack.us/img535/7145/p1020832.jpg)

Thank you for your help :)
Jen

That looks like a DKB Cobra (http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/cobra).

When you say the clock doesn't work, do you mean it won't keep time while the machine is off, or that it's not detected at all (i.e, Save button is ghosted in Time preferences)?

Yep, it seems that DKB board and... I forgot quite everything on how  Amiga works :(
I was trying to set up the time & date from the shell command date,  not from the time program...
I must chek up my neurons :(
I'm curious to read the cobra manual, but the amiga.resource's manual  link doesn't work... I'll try with google.
