Title: 16 - 64MB Iomega CompactFlash cards. (2 FREE PAIRS LEFT)
Post by: Nlandas on February 21, 2010, 12:05:27 AM
I have 16 - 64MB Iomega CompactFlash cards.

I will give these cards away to the first comers - FOR THE COST OF SHIPPING ONLY. I'd like to do them in pairs in case any don't still work.

(I have no way to test. It will take me a few days to find small shipping containers.)

So the first 8 people to post interest to this thread and then subsequently pay the postage costs will receive them. Anyone interested?

I now have one pair left that wasn't paid for. Anyone want it?

[EDIT] I might don't respond to this thread up Monday. Too busy at weekends plus moderating another Amiga site... :)

I'll PM you the paypal address and shipping costs to Brazil. Hopefully, Monday afternoon - I need to get into my day job to pick up some small boxes to keep the costs down. I'm sure I can find some of them there. The weight difference adds up and I only had 2 small boxes here and I've used them.

I'll PM you Monday. 8^)

If you still have a pair of them to give away, I would like to be considered as one of the recipients.  Let me know if I am one of the lucky members and I will send you my mailing address and the shipping money.

So far I have at least interest from (Correct me if I'm wrong.)

HaywirePC (Paid, shipped)
RKauer (Paid, shipped)
Orb85750 (Paid, shipped)
AmigaDave (Paid, shipped)
XDelusion (Paid, shipped)
motrucker (Paid, shipped)
PhatAgnus   - ?????
scrappysph (Paid, shipped)
From Amibay.com - Fingerlickin_B (Estimate sent)

That should leave 0 pairs that can go out.

Shipping should be cheap via First Class USPS. Especially in North America. I can still ship first class anywhere but it'll take a longer time to arrive. There is no markup on shipping this is all at cost.

Yes, that threads been on Amibay since June 09. Had one reply I missed because they didn't PM me but other than that just sitting there. I don't have a good way to close threads so I started one here and edited the one there.

I'll add  you to the list.

I got padded envelopes today so I'll start estimating shipping tonight once I help the wife with dinner.

Ok, guys anyone in the USA give me your zipcode and I'll give you at cost shipping estimates. Anyone in another Country if it's started on your account I can do an estimate with that.

Otherwise, let me know your Country.

Thanks everyone, I've updated the status post above. Basically, everyone's has shipped except that I'm waiting to hear back from PhatAgnus and Fingerlickin_B from amibay.com.

I appreciate everyone who tossed in a little more than the shipping cost. It was unexpected and apprecaited.  It covered the cost of envelopes, tape and I think even the gas to swing over to the USPS. This has been a great experience for me and I highly recommend that before anyone throw out any technology they offer it up on amiga.org or amibay.com.

I hope everyone's arrives in good shape and they come in useful.

So PhatAgnus, still interested or should I offer your pair up to someone else?

Ok, all are sent out but two. I heard from Fingerlickin_B on amibay and set a shipping estimate. I haven't heard from PhatAngus.

So I added a poll - what does everyone think, how long shoul I wait to finalize before I take newcomers on the 2 remaining pairs?

Estimate sent, I can ship them Monday if you can send the shipping. ;^D

I'm glad everyone is getting theirs. I'm sure the overseas ones will get there but they do take some time when you send them USPS First Class but it's not really worth Priority mail, even for free cards. 8^)
