Hi Guys,
I would ask if anyone knows the difference between version 1 and version 2 of the full motion video card for Amiga CD32...
Many thanks, Carlo

I'm surprised Commodore even had time to produce a second version before the bankruptcy. I'm not aware of any differences.
-
Oh, yes... they produced even Ver. 4 ......

Was a long time ago but I remember reading somewhere that the early FMV's had some problems, can anyone elaborate some more?

The most precise answer I remember about the different versions was at:

Q: Can I use CD-i Digital Video CDs?
A: Yep. Some don't quite follow the standard though, so if you get rubbish on certain ones you can upgrade your FMV cartridge's ROM to the latest version (40.30) which can cope with the non-standard CDs. The dealer that you bought the FMV cartridge from should be able to do this for you at a cost of about 5UKP.
