Hi all. Just wanted to announce to you all my mod player for iPod Touch and iPhone; Interocitor!
http://umlautllama.com/iphone/interocitor
There are little screenshots of it there, along with a video showing it running
Buy it in the app store:
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/interocitor/id350158458?mt=8
First 5 replies in here will get a free activation code for it! (if you want a copy!)
I tried to infuse a bunch of Amiga 1.x feel into it. The "workbench hand" is the splash screen, Topaz font, a "Boing" visualizer...
Here's a bunch more screenshots and vids of it from when I was developing it:

Looks very cool! The visualisations rock :)
-
Amiga mods played on the iPhone? Count me in!
-
Now the iPhone can be used as a proper computer :) Looks nice
-
Very very nice, I love mods.
-
Nice. Is this the first modplayer for the iPhone?
On the N900-front there is actually a input plugin for the built-in mediaplayer:

Nope. There are a couple of mod players out there already. All of them are pretty basic though. I just wanted to bring something different, and wanted to add the fun visualizers and such. :) I'm very happy with it.
I have a few extra codes too; if anyone else wants a copy to try out, and maybe write a review. (I'd prefer a positive review, of course, but I'd prefer an honest review more than that.)

Thanks! I tried to have some fun with them.
I have plans for a waveform display (like all the trackers you've ever seen) and perhaps playlist/grouping support, and of course, infusing more "Amiga"ness to it, assuming I can figure out how. Suggestions?

The Amiga Juggler as a visual would be pretty outstanding! :)

YES. that would be awesome.
What's the legality of using those graphics these days?

But how I can upload my mods to iPod?

But how I can upload my mods to iPod?
It has a web browser built in, so you can just point it at a local web server share. Zip up your mods, or download them one-by-one.
Or just use the builtin bookmarks for my archive (http://umlautllama.com/mods), textfiles, and modarchive to find stuff to snag.
:)

It's $2.99 from the app store. I was offering some free promo codes. You can have one if you'd like.

I'm far too late for the freebies, but all the same I'd love to try it out :D
-
I just purchased this, and it's very nice!
If I may, I have requests/suggestions for visualizations. It would be great to see the patterns and effects like in a tracker:

...maybe also with the bars.
My favourite modplayer from old times had a great function where it showed the effect used for each channel in realtime:

That would be amazing! :-)

I second madsjm's suggestion, and ask when the crackberry version will be out :P

Having a lot of problems trying to download my files I've put on file hosting sites. Get this "An Error Occured: Frame load interrupted" problem when getting my zipped file from filedropper, 4shared, or anywhere else

If you have a code left, I'll take one ;))

Promo codes only work for US iTunes accounts. Or at least they did, it might have changed since the release of iOS4, but I could only provide promo codes to US iTunes users :(

So I've been using this player for a week now, and have a few problems.
1. I had to SSH into my phone to transfer the files since the file serve downloading wouldn't work. Why not just have a PC/Mac side program where attaching the iphone via USB would let you just drag and drop the files?
2. The app crashes a lot. I can't get through a few songs before it crashes on me.
So hopefully the author is still reading this thread, because I don't want to put a critical review on itunes.
If you can resolve these in the next version, I'll put a positive review.

I am downloading it now, Amiga on the Ipod, I always look at this thing called Ipod and think it is where Commodore/Atari was headed. I will post later after I sync and load it, look cool I can not wait.

Hmm I thought the Interocitor for the iPhone/Touch would have been slightly smaller. 8o)

and iPad :-)
It's a bit crashy, mainly when downloading stuff. A lot of mods are zipped or lha'd and it doesn't seem to handle them. It also gets very confused with mods that download with a long url in the filename, these are non-compressed files.
You might want it to be able to synch files via iTunes, that way I can upload mods I already have on this machine.
Also try a dedicated iPad version, it's only running via iPhone compatibility which sucks.

Do you guys recommend any alternative mod player on the iphone that's more stable?
