Snagged a sweet deal today.
3 A1000's (one in original box complete), Boxed 1080, and a couple of sidecar units which I haven't checked out yet.......
I was also told that one of the machines has a Phoenix MB in it plus some other goodies but I will have to wait til I pop it open........
I guess they were stored in-house since day one, no garage storage so they are nice and clean.
Not bad for less than $100 ;) I'm giddy!

that is freakin awesome!! original boxes and all!! thats a good deal for the price too :)

Congratulations! That's an awesome haul. It also acted as a reminder to me I need to get my hands on an A1000 as it's a whole in my collection.
Enjoy.

AltRN8, Those were my thoughts exactly! Never had a A1000 and figured if I am this much of an Amiga enthusiast I must find a A1000 somewhere!
Problem now is too many machines and not enough time to restore them.... not complaining though, great fun!

That's sweet! Awesome deal on that. I still have my A1000 and 1080, but I don't think I have the boxes anymore.

OMFG!
Sandman, where in the great wide frickin' world are you?!? Please people... fill out the location in your profile for cryin' out loud!!!
Less than $100, so I'm guessing you're in the U.S. But a Phoenix board in one of them?!? Seriously, if you'd like to sell it or trade it, LMK please and thank you!
Might trade stuff in my sig for one of your A1000's if it really does have a Phoenix board in her...

I know the feeling about too many and not enough time. You're 100% right about it being super fun. The A3000T I just picked up from Tone007 pretty much made my month.

Very sweet! I also just purchased my actually first Amiga. It was also a A1000. :)
Now I am on the search for any ram and or hard drive sidecar as I actually want to use mine and need more than 512k.

Sweet bro. I love my two A1000's. Especially my second one that has the Kickstart chip rather than having to boot from a disk.
-
Crikey, you wait for one, and then three come along at the same time :hat:

Unbelievable! Great find. The A1000 is a bit limited if its your only Amiga (my current situation) but they are great old machines. I have more than few old Amiga games that will only seem to run on a real 1.3 (1.2 sometimes) A1000. The 1080 monitors seem to be bullet proof, and have a good display for the A1000.
A word of caution - Make several back ups of your Kickstart disk!
