This is a c/p from another site...
It's a white Amiga 2000 in a custom made/moded PC case, with a
white amiga keyboard (only the keyboard price was about 70e) &
a Amiga 1200 mouse. Sorry for pure pictures but my htc only
makes good ones at daylight ;-(
Also inside the original 1.3rom & the latest 3.1roms!
In the space between the cd roms is a rack for a IDE hdd already
connected to the controller but i lost somehow the rack ;-(

Blizzard 2060 68060/50mhz turbo card with Fast SCSI-II DMA Controller
I remember overclocking it to 66mhz but not sure (that was 15 years ago)
I will open it and make pictures if someone is very serious about
buying it - no problems!!!
Also there is a Piccasso II card installed (with 2mb video memory)

NEW PRICE !!! The price would be now 700 EURO + shipping OR you give
some reasonable offer!!! Just you people must know that in those day
it was also HARD to find all extra cards and motherboards that will
work together 100% - On this computer you can also play all the OCS/ECS
games from the floppy i made a switch in the back to chose 0.5 or 1 chip
memory, also in this board was the FAT agnus (?) with 2mb chip mem, so
you know it will also work together with the other cards! Installed memory
is 32mb but you can install 128, (the monitor is not for sale, nostalgy!)
I will also include AmigaOS3.5 original and 100 disks with games.
Shapeshifter also works and i also will ship photoshop together with it!
I also include a videobackup system (hardware cable+box) with software!!!
and some stuff left out before but now i found it - here it is!
Logitech mouse (white as snow) in very very good shape
and a interface/adapter from ELBOX for using a PC mouse!

P.S.
No trading b/c i m in need of cash! Payment via PayPal only!!!
Thanks

Lots of pictures but none of the inside :(
I seriously doubt a 2k could fit in that case.
Gaz
-
:roflmao:
yeah it fit when you do it right!
I will make some pictures today nop
i can also make some video if i get a real offer !!!
Thanks
-
If the case can take a full AT board it can fit
-
The offical AT motherboard size is 12" x 13.8" (roughly 30cm x 35cm) and the 2000 board is 33x42cm. Having played with putting 2k's in daft cases I must say the board is a beast.
Also from the photos the front keyboard, mice and joystick ports are not there, and there is very little clearance under the cdrom, considering if a 2k board is in there it will fill the case.
If I had put a 2k in that case I'd be bragging about my engineering abilities and showing lots of photos of the interior.
Gaz
-
Yeah, about $960-$1k is what I was thinking my A2500 with similar specs should go for. Hopefully it does!
-
Pictures are uploading right now, i also made pictures for the mouse and keyboard adapter for you!
New Post in 10 minutes!

Imageshack speed sux!
OK here we go:
opened the box:
it is a messy place right but the scsi cabel must go that way
i had too much broken cabels as they go bad b/c they are soo
sensitive...
fitment of the mb on right side (you see the teac cdwriter):
fitment on the left side:
that's the cpu i glued a goldish color heatsink w/fan on it:
(i disconnected the floppy cabel to take that picture)
this is the rear of the blizzard you can see the mems attached:
and here you see the hdds and the oktagon and piccaso2 cards:
the back with switches for 3.1 or 1.3wb, 512 or 1chip mem:
i hope you like what i did, it is quite a mess, but there was no
other way to install all the stuff into the original a2000 case
b/c i wanted to fit the scsi reader and writer into it so i can
use it for making cd and also the rack for quick IDE hdd installs
and file transfers!

Does the turbo button work
The led counter showing the clock speed is a nice touch too. I wish you could buy cases like that now.

Yeah the button actually works but only the yellow led light up!
The third RED led is for hdd activity and also works great!
The clock speed is also possible (real) with o/c - no problem at all...
the only one thing a never did is the AMIGA sticker, a made some but
was to lazy to cut it and stick it to the case... other projects had
greater priority, those coin up took too much time hehehehe

Just get an LCD display and use it to show whatever you want.

No offers???
I still got it... someone buy it ...
-
Hate to say it bud, but if I can't sell my Blizzard 2060 for half the price you're asking, then we're both in a world of hurt. May as well keep the stuff, because you know... sooner than later - we'll regret selling it! lol

You're selling your stuff off? Man, I was hoping to have a decent Chicago Amiga GTG at some point...
-
is that hard drive just sitting on the mobo as pictured? if so, you're not worried about shorting out the A2k?
@gaz: :rolleyes:

No, no, no... will "never" fully get out of the Amiga. Just have been tossing around the idea of selling my 060 card - which has generated zero interest here. Will probably end up keeping it. Was thinking the A2000 might make a nice stand for my newly acquired A3000... lol I'll have to snap a pic of that if I do it. Space is becoming severely limited over here and I'd rather not put such an awesome system (my A2500) in storage. Out of sight, out of mind on something like that is not cool.

Hi!
No man - look better you will see that there is some paper under the hdd's
It look so messy but it is done/improvised very well and also between the
cards and the hdd's is also some thin paper just to not touch them aswell
but i removed it just for taking the pictures!!!
Also under the floppy i have a 80mm fan just before the 060 cpu that put some fresh air into the case (if heavy use i remove the second floppy drive plastic with easy ;p) and there is in the back 2 80mm fans (one upright) pulling all the heat out of the case!
@save2600 Yeah u r right about the price but i m in need of cash to finish some other projects, i also have soo much computer stuff that a whole room is full of that and o/c i still have 2 more amigas for my pleasure...
:bump:
-
My point is: Why having an Amiga in a PC case?
A notebook running MicroXP + WinUAE should smash a '060 isn't it?
And it's way prettier than this...
-
This kind of project isn't for everyone, but I myself have been tempted to re-case an A2000 into something a little prettier than the original A2000 case. It definitely is something of a labor of love for all the effort it takes (which is why I haven't done it!)

I have done this very long time ago to be precise at the beginning of the 90s in time of the 386/486 pcs, keep that in mind,
IMO the original case of the A2000 was ugly! I like the case of the A4000 or the CDTV but A4000T is also just a PC alike case! I can always put a AMIGA stick on my amiga so it will look very nice to me! I m BTW a proud owner of a AMIGA computer and was a short time into the amiga scene not to mention the C64 so my A2000 RULEZ in whatever case it is :hammer: or was!
Also my keyboard is WHITE like my monitor so it is not yellow, beige or brown,
and NO the MicroXP or macro or mini or whatever XP + wuae is not faster
-
new price...
600 euros!
:-(
someone?
-
Shipping's a killer to about half the world on something like that. If you're looking for some cash, you might just have to rip the heart out and sell it.
-
I think when you build a project like this one, it becomes more of a "personal" treasure and loses it's broader appeal.
I hope you find a buyer, if not, you could always sell the parts...

Yeah it's the same with tuned cars, you invest a lot of time work and money but if you want to sell it no one appreciate it...
Maybe i will part it out... i will regret it i m already!
:-(

An alternative to parting out is to install everything that you have into an A2000 case (neatly). It should all fit. You'll have a hard time selling it looking like this for anywhere near your asking price regardless of how fast it is. Once you do this though you may decide to keep it!

yeah i have my original a2000 case and also one original a2000 floppy drive
(that just reminded me that the drive in the current case is a HD floppy ;p)
but no way to put it all back there... yeah i will make also a picture of my
original a2000 keyboard so people can see why i put all the work/money into
this/my setup, i can ship the original parts together if someone is REALLY
interested in these ugly yellowish parts...
;p
-
Make me some offer via PM !?
:)
-
I m thinking of parting out or lowering the price a little bit more...
:(
still no serious offers!?
