Title: Wiered problem
Post by: dougal on February 05, 2010, 07:33:08 AM
Yesterday i switched on my A2000 and the grey/white screens of the self test showed up as usual, but i didnt get the screen with the hand holding the kickstart disk, just a white screen...

Funny thing is that i heard the floppy drive ticking for a disk and when i inserted a disk i could hear it loading and the sound came up but no display.

I havent checked it again today, but when i do ill try another cable.

It was connected to my plasma tv using a 23pin rgb to scart cable. Could it be a cable fault ?

I am asking cause i dont know if this could also be like a Denise problem or something, just in case switching cables doesnt work.

Cancel that... tried it on another TV (actually an old philips monitor) and it worked well
