I am low on funds, but my A2000 loads almost nothing because its got only 512K ram.
I'm looking for the cheapest option to upgrade to either 1mb or 2mb.
I am a fast payer and can pay using paypal.

A2000's came stock with 1mb ram. Are you talking about chip ram only - or all possible ram? I do have an A25000 - 2mb fastram board. Can be yours for $15USD+ship.

I think I have an 8UP! board with 4 meg populated somewhere. Might have 8. If I can find it.

I've got a Microbotics 8 UP! board populated with 2MB. PM me if you're interested. I've also got a A2058 with 8MB but it cost me quite abit so would be more expensive. Its currently in my A3000D.

That's what my first A2000 was. There should have been another 512KB of Fast RAM on a Zorro card installed by the factory.
If you don't have SCSI or IDE then look out for a SCSI/RAM combo board rather than just a plain RAM board. I picked up an 8MB Zorro RAM card off eBay a few years ago for peanuts. Keep an eye out there.
