Title: Different A2000 Power Supplies??
Post by: barney on January 31, 2010, 04:37:49 AM
I have noticed that most A2000 Power supplies out there seem to be the enclosed ones.  I have one that I have not seen ever since.  Mine is covered with ventilating holes all over the outside.  Just an interresting thing I noticed.  Anybody else out there have this same type?

Most of the 2000's I have seen usually have them mesh holes you are on about, though I have always known there was other styles (well at-least 2 different metal sheilding styles anyway).

Are the mesh hole types an older model?  If so, why did they change?  Is one any better than the other that you are aware of?

Age difference could be a possibility but really your guess is as good as mine, I never really looked into it that deeply, was just something I had noticed in the past.
