Title: WTB: Ram Expansion Card for A1200

Hi All,

I am looking to buy a suitable expansion card for my A1200 for use with WHDload.

If anyone is interested in selling a RAM expansion card then please let me know.

Im in the UK.

They sometimes appear on eBay but the demand is so great, they don't go for much less than some 030 boards!

Thanks, i will take a look.

The ones of eBay are going for too much for me, even the 4mb ones are exceeding  £60+

Yes I agree its a rip off for near 20 year old technology. I dont really care for anyones argument but Amiga hardware is far too over-valued.
 
With regards to Amibay, make sure you read their forum rules, in short dont talk about prices as its considered price driving. Not a rule I entirely agree with but its a great place and Ive been on there far more than here just lately (its also an Amiga.org type forum). If I was you I would have a browse of the listings and then place a wanted ad for the RAM card if you dont see what you like. Oh, and dont forget to put your location on your profile!

AmiBay is your best bet, bare in mind you are not likely to be able to use PCMCIA devices if you want all 8Mb of RAM.
It would have to be pegged back at 4Mb via jumper settings or just having a 4Mb module for it to not affect the PCMCIA port (if you didn't already know).
