I've finally got round to using thermal adhesive tape to re-attach the HSF to my 1240 accelerator (040-FPU, 64MB RAM). I played Worms for about 30 minutes without problems, but because I've had problems the last few times I played on that Amiga, probably with games that are too old for this spec, I'd like someone to recommend a program I could use to give my machine a good bit of testing.
spec: C= A1200, 1240 accelerator, 40MHz 040 + FPU + 64MB RAM
850MB IDE disk, 2.5"
Everything else stock, except I'm using an A500 PSU.

I have a mandelbrot screensaver that I pulled down from Aminet that I've used to see if my Amiga was working. I usually leave it running for 4 or 5 hours to see if there's any heat related issues.
I just looked for software on Aminet that might do a system test. Perhaps a speed test would do the trick but, other than SysInfo nothing comes to mind.
Anyone, is there something better than SysInfo for this??

SysSpeed and (old) AIBB.

Where can I get SysSpeed from, and is that the same as SysInfo, which I think it the one I normally see on screenshots with a GUI showing a graph near the bottom-left corner showing the system's performance compared with other system configurations?

Aminet, something like sspeed26, it's much more comprehensive.

or get it decoding encryytion keys that it will keep it busy at full tilt.

Play with CandyFactory for a few hours. :)
