So, I just brought an Amiga 1200 motherboard back to life, and was just putting it into the standard case, but when I was going to connect the keyboard, I suddenly noticed that the top of the ZIF socket is missing!
Is there anywhere to source a new 31-pin ZIF socket suitable for the Amiga 1200?

If you have dead Amiga 500 around, you can use the plastic clip from the keyboard. Connector in keyboard pcb is same than in A1200 motherboard.

Or even a bit of a business card or something cut to fit in the slot behind the ribbon cable to push the contacts together, perhaps.
I've got one of those pieces spare though if you need it, for the price of postage.
edit: unless you mean the whole darn thing is missing, that could be tricky. I could try removing one of those as well, though.

I think whatsa looking for is this (http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=746).

Ah yeah, that Amigakit piece looks like the one. Too bad about the price though...
