Can anybody recommend a cleaning product to clean "Commodore" products back to cream from "Commodore" yellow ?
I've heard that Plexus is good, any others ?
Cheers

Just checked. That site has been in the Links section since the beginning of June.

Plexus won't do anything for yellowing, but it's fantastic for maintaining plastic in like new condition. It adds a protective wax-like coating, visually perhaps a barely perceptible sheen. :P
For cleaning dirty cases I recommend an 80/20 mixture (or so) of distilled water and distilled white vinegar. Cleans well, isn't hard on plastic, no nasty chemicals and it dries without residue.

Wow, do you know where I can find the materials for this in Australia? No one around here will sell me the peroxide so I've never been able to make any RetroBright to lighten up my yellowed 1200s and 500s. I have washed them though, and they come up very nice if you use some Gumption.

I'm in OZ, and I'm in the process of trying this/getting the bits together. My first try wasn't very successful as I went "cheap" on the oxy action, only getting normal nappy soaker, and I did it in like 30+ degree heat. Anyway, I'm gonna give it another go. So, please take the below with a "grain of salt" as I haven't tried these exact ingredients yet.
I got the hydrogen peroxide (3%) from a local chemist, and the (second lot :D) of Coles Oxy Active from Coles, same too with the Arrowroot powder. I found a UV globe at Bunnings the other day, but not quite the right fitting, so I need to keep looking - apparentely hydroponic equipment suppliers will have UV globes. Hope this helps :)

Might be worth checking where servos get their UV bulbs...they use these in the toilets (so junkies can't see their veins).
