Title: What kind of PSU for USA?
Post by: Jon Hare on January 12, 2010, 07:59:22 AM
Hi!

I wanna ask if someone knows what kind of power plug is used in the USA. I have a UK PSU here which has another plug as the european PSU's. Does anyone knows if this one can be used in the USA?

We use a 120V 60Hz system (our power supply cords have to blades and one roundish ground on them  = C   (looks sort of like it if you have your head cocked to one side).  The UK power cords and supply are very different.

Oh...thanks for this. My problem is that I'm searching for a possibility to use an Amiga PSU in USA. Therefore I need an adapter or a complete other PSU. Anyone got an idea?

We stock a good wattage 110v PSU that can be used in US/Canada/Japan for the Amiga here:
