Ah you mean Amiga.org's own marketplace, found it :) BTW, why is it in dollars?? It says on your profile you are in the UK?

If he's in the UK, that's handy then...

EDIT: $100 for shipping to the UK, from the UK? That's a bit high isn't it? Hell, If I win it will only go about 250 miles.

Sorry!
That was a Guesstimate!
There's 3 x boxes, approx 8 quid per box, HDNL.
Plus the monitor, If anyone wants it!
Yes it should read pounds, I didn't have an option when I posted.

OK, just to be clear, the current bid then is 110 GBP + 24 GBP shipping?
I had assumed it was USD! (still a good deal though)

Guys,
I made a genuine mistake.
Of course I meant Pounds, Yes shipping at approx 8 quid per box, plus monitor is another 8 quid extra.
Guys, over the pound/dollar thing, you tell me what's fair.
There is a lot of kit here!
Tim.

Don't get me wrong, I agree pounds is fair for that amount of kit! I was just making sure :)

Guys, lets leave it in Dollars, I just want the kit to go to someone who will use it and have a lot of fun with it.
Currency Exchange rate fixed at 1.5 Dollars = 1 Pound.
Shipping in Pounds Sterling.
Thanks, Tim.

I'm pretty confused here. I'm about 45 mins from Norwich, would local pickup be an option? I'm quite intrested depending on the price for the whole lot.

Yes, local pick-up is definately okay!
I could also ship to Finland, there's approx 30kgs in weight(so shipping won't be cheap).
Tim.

Four hours to go...

If you read this before the auction ends, could you post a picture of it all please? It sounds like it takes up a good bit of space.

Well, maybe someone can tell me what's going on here. I wanted to bid 3 min before end of this auction. So I've entered my bid, submited it and then a page appears that I have to fill out some kind of sheet with my adress, ZIP and so on. I'm located in Germany, so obviously the system didn't accepted mybids. It says "Browser updated" and that was it.

What's up with this auction system?

It's kind of a toy add-on for the forum software.

It did the same to me. After it says "browser updated" you're supposed to enter your bid again, because it doesn't remember what it was doing before for some reason.

I guess now you know, you won't lose another this way!

Firefox...

So am I. I don't know if the auction software is set up to only let people in the same country as the seller bid or something... I might just be talking bollocks now.

It's timhume's decision if he wants to let you have it, I'm not really bothered either way.

Actually, congrats you won the auction!:)

Hi Guys,
due to issues over bidding and currency units, I feel that to be fair to all parties, I need to re-auction my A1200.
If anyone knows how to alter the currency units from Dollars to Pounds on the Auction House, could they please let me know.
Thanks, Tim.
