Hi there,
I installed a Deneb in my 2000 yesterday. Works great!
However, DenebTools and Luciferin found on the rescue mode virtual drive during initial setup didn't install.
Both of those installs throw a scripting error for line 412. Does anyone know of a workaround to this?
Is there a way to just manually unpack the files and dump them somewhere, if so, where?
- I am installing on a A2000 with OS 3.1.
- I tried both German and English install versions.

Try installing a newer version of "installer" from Aminet, that should do the trick...

As Marcb already suggested, please upgrade to a newer installer (actually there is a warning about using an old version inside the script and it is odd that the installer was unable to execute the script at all), as the older versions are too buggy. At least version 43.3 is recommended.
While the installation of the DenebTools is straight-forward (just copy the executables to C:), installing Luciferin without the supplied installer script is not recommended.

The older installer fails with error 412. Clicking the "Proceed" button ends the install process.
Yep, I did see the warning about this during installation, but the Aminet path given in is no longer valid. I did find a newer installer by searching forums.
Well anyway, thanks a bunch for the tips. Indeed, the updated Installer fixed the problem.
