As you people possess knowledge of Amigas far superior to the ignorant little Jono Pike, I shalt question thou nowe:
Anyway, enough of the medieval crap - Is Heretic 2 on the Amiga, because I have the game on PC, and it rocks. Also, given the tendancy that Amigas get PC games roughly a few years later than their PC brethen, it might be likley.

Hi there,
Yeah Heretic 2 is on the amiga. but it needs a pretty beefy machine to run.
PPC, 64Mb ram minimum, ideally a GFX card, really wants a 3D gfx card, and about 400Mb disk space. i'm sure someone will correct me, but thats what i remember. :-)
-
My box says:
PPC 160 Mhz
Plus AGA or GFX board
64 Mb ram
Kickstart 3.x
WarpOS/3D Required
300 Mb harddisc space
Supports 3D GFX-Board
And thats just the minimums 8-)
-
Uh...."AGA required" and "Warp3D required" in the same list? Somehow that doesn't make sense really :-).
-
AGA is not required. Though it is supported. H2 looks better (and runs faster) on a GFX Board machine, though.
To the original poster: H2 is already out since quite some while on the Amiga. The Amiga port was the first title released by Hyperion Entertainment.

yes the game came to amiga in 1999/2000 and i still love it...
sadly i have some minor issues with save games after i upgraded to 256mb ram ;( , so i have started it again from scratch and its still fun (3rd time around to complete :D)
cheers

Not big a problem, I'm playing through the games several times anyways.

@lempkee
So you never got to the bottom of that saved game problem then?
