Title: Monitor resolution question
Post by: dougal on January 05, 2010, 11:05:19 PM
The SVGA monitor im using on my A4000 can output any resolution that the Picasso IV gives it, but for some reason 1024x768 does not work... All the others including the even higher than 1024x768 resolutions work.

I had used another SVGA and 1024x768 did work.

There is something wrong with the monitor right?

Could bu due to the frequency being output by the Picasso, not the resolution.  Try a differnt color depth with 1024x768 eg 256 colors, 15 Bit, 16 bit, 24 bit.

Trim the pixel clock setting and/or picture size/position (cursor keys and cursor+shift, cursor+alt).

Change H&VSync-Settings (positiv/negativ) in P96-Prefs.
