Seems most replies are running around year 1985 when Amiga was ahead its time. The rest is folk comparing Amiga to Windows 95.
-
I made 3 or 4 answers to these silly peoples stating more of less this:
"You can't consider Amiga as Dead.
Remember that AmigaOS and Amiga Hardware are on sale in internet stores"
But as I posted it without being registered user and just as "Anonymous Coward" these comments, after just some minutes, seems to be disappeared.
Or the Slashdot site system purges automatically all about the anonymous coward commenting or perhaps at Slashdot maintainers are just a bunch of lozers who prefer far better to delete any real pro-amiga informations and comments and save only the trollish bunch of comments about Amiga being dead and obsolete, because in their odd minds they found all this cr^p as being very silly and laughing...
It is very sad...

I have Boing Ball decorated tin-foil hats if you would like one.

Yes, the comments make Amiga people look lost in the past rather than looking forward, but maybe that's not so far from the truth.

Just an FYI. Dave Haney has been pretty active these past few days over on SlashDot (as well as a few posts here @HazyDave).

I did learn that I can pipe commands through Say on an OS X terminal, so it wasn't a complete waste....

I love how as soon as a bunch of guys talk about how they had fun with something, the internet conjures a huge bunch of guys who have to p*** all over that fun.
-
I gave up slashdot a long time ago. I always tought I was an uber-nerd and could discuss with these guys but seems i'm too "dumb" for their kind ;) I'll stay a half-nerd and be happy with it.

Digg is better but they need more Amiga love.
