Title: A3000 ATX adapter idea
Post by: LoadWB on December 31, 2009, 04:00:19 PM

Rather than reinvent the wheel, I thought about getting another 4000D adapter from AmigaKit and creating a short wiring harness to adapt the 4000D power connector to the 3000 motherboard.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?  I can get the necessary parts from Mouser pretty inexpensively.

Then I will upgrade the Super Buster, the WD SCSI chip, the... :)

ive done this with A4000 psu, and it sould be possible also with A3000 PSU.
Simply remove old pcb, fan and use only wires with connector and PSU case.
You will just need to find atx psu with pcb which will fit in original PSU case.
