Title: Genlock A2300/A2301: NTSC to PAL
Post by: VingtTrois on December 31, 2009, 01:40:08 PM
Hello,

I would like to know something about the COMMODORE A2300 Genlock:
- if the A2300 NTSC model can be 'modified' to be used in PAL mode ? And how ?
- if I can used this card on the A3000 video slot ?

I ask this because I see the white socket labeling "A2300 / A2301" on the board and I've found this:
A2301 / Description : This was the European variant of the A2300, with added components for PAL input and output.  A NTSC A2300 can actually be modified for use as a A2301.[/i]. See here: http://www.amigahistory.co.uk/modelnum.html

If you have tips/hardware solution to use NTSC model in PAL...I'm interested !

Hi, I am sure I have seen in my loft a circuit diagram for the Genlock. If you know what you are looking at I am sure it may be useful?

Also, just seen here a circuit diagram for the A2300:
