Now have some mpgs demos to .anim ham 8 with the sound to 27khz 8 bit and all run on my cd32 at full frame rate and the quality is very very good, my problem is i dont know nothing for converter all to cdxl, but if i can make it with scala player on case extremely, can help me but, my brain only think on cdxl =) This message is for all cd32 users, and all your comments are wellcome, on 80min cd-r storage a lots of mb.
Thanks to JaXanim and dave for all your help.

there is a program on aminet i think, i got mine off of an old Amiga Format CD.

its called CDXLgui can playback and make CDXL's

split an Mpeg down into iff frames, pull the sound out as an Aiff file, point CDXLgui at it and off it goes!

ok so the compression isn't great, but hey, its full screen full fps on an 020/000. can select ham8 or ham6 for playback on aga or ocs/ecs chipsets.

Here is an interesting page (in German) regarding the CDXL format:
http://www.amclust.de/workshops/CDXL.html (http://www.amclust.de/workshops/CDXL.html)

CDXL Tools:
http://de.aminet.net/aminetbin/find?cdgsxlGUI2 (http://de.aminet.net/aminetbin/find?cdgsxlGUI2)
http://de.aminet.net/aminetbin/find?XLToolKitGUI (http://de.aminet.net/aminetbin/find?XLToolKitGUI)

Good luck! :-D

As my sig says I'm CD32-powered too :-). Very interesting plan. However I do have one question. Is the FMV module needed?
