So it's almost Christmas and back in the old days there would be only one type of present you wanted... something Amiga related.
My Amiga experience started at Christmas I saved up 3 months of pocket money to help my mum buy me an Amiga 500. I should have considered a commodore 64c because accessories for it were dirt cheap in 1987. I got the 512k expansion and an external floppy drive the following Christmas.
Can anyone remember the name of that basic word processor that came included with the Amiga 500?

My most fondest Christmas Amiga memories was probably around Xmas 1992 when i was on Holiday with my mum and Street Fighter II had just been released. Bought that and a whole other bunch of Amiga games and accessories.
That was one great Christmas

Christmas 1992 I got my first A1200. I'd gotten the A600 for my birthday the same year, so you can sort of see it was a pretty much instant addiction :) (I'd used friends A500's well before that but could never afford them in the day).
I can remember sitting there on the morning, having plugged it into the telly and fired up dpaint AGA and Oscar. Happy memories.

A couple of my favourite memories are playing the special coverdisk Christmas demos of Lemmings and Cannon Fodder.
No doubt the Amiga will be out again this Christmas for a fistful joy(stick) and fun.
