Title: Virgin ebay a(u)ction
Post by: weirdami on November 12, 2003, 08:03:45 PM
I'm trying out this ebay selling thang. Go ahead and check out the cable I'm selling. Tell me if you think I should have put any other kind of information on the listing. (Or even if there's something that I should not have included.)

Its a six foot db25 to centronics 36 (male-male) cable.

The best I can tell, this is some kind of printer cable. If you recognize that it works with any equipment you have, please tell me so I can add the info to any future sales of cables of this type. (I have a few of these.)

In a little under 2 hours, if the bid stands, someone's getting a six foot cable for four cents. Can we go for 8? :-)

It's keen beans that I got a bid on it, but I'm still in the dark as to how anyone makes money on ebay this way. Besides redrumloa, has anyone here sold anything on ebay that had gone for something other than the opening bid?
