Title: Topolino Adapter Use on Commodore Amiga
Post by: jsixis on December 14, 2009, 10:45:59 PM
Topolino Adapter Use 9pin PC Mouse on Commodore Amiga?
Anyone ever use one of these? I have one that I bought years ago. Now since I can't get any Amiga mouse to last longer then 6 months I guess I better get me a wintel mouse and see if it works.

I just bought a CF-ide44 pin adapter for my A 1200. Any hints, suggestions? I would like to install a 4GB flash card and do away with the hardrive in the 1200. I do have a 4 port IDE adapter in my 1200 so I am hoping I can slave the adapter (it has a jumper)

 Thanks

Why not investigate a Cocolino instead of a Topolino? Surely PS2 / USB mice are easier to find than serial PC mice? And yes many USB mice do work with Cocolino.

What do you do with the mouses? You eat them?? :roflmao: Mine is celebrating its 9th birthday!!!!

Now, seriously, go for a Cocolino. I guess its the best solution for your needs
Or...if you have a Tower...go for a USB option, like http://www.e3b.de/usb/index_e.html (http://www.e3b.de/usb/index_e.html)

Check the Subway version. Simple the best. (In my Humble opinion, of course)
