Title: Problem with Zip 2 Simm adapter

I recently received a zip 2 Simm adapter from DJ Base. I am having some problems, I installed the board (even removed my MB to ensure its properly put in) but all I get is a Red Guru "Software Failure" error.

I have tried with 8mb FPM and EDO simms, 4mb simms and same result.

Any advice from users I would appreciate

Have some issues with it myself as well... did you try running it without any SIMMs installed?

I found that I don't have any compatible SIMMs lying around. The LED on the adapter would just stay red all the time.

Without simms it works fine, althought the light is always red as well. The documenttaion does not say what the light or the jumper are for

The jumper is supposedly self-explainatory, and should set if you have one or two SIMMs I believe. DJBase should be able to help here ;-)

Tried 1 and 2 simms, same issue red "software failure"

actually got it to boot! Changed jumper 851 from 16 to 25
