It's important that people understand what WrongPla.net is and what it isn't. What it is, is a site to laugh at and with - and maybe learn something from about the way the sillier aspects of the Amiga community are seen from the outside. It re-exposes things that have become acceptable to us from long suffering, things that probably nobody else would accept, and forces us to look at them again. In that way, view it positively. It is pure satire and nobody should take a single word of it seriously.

What it isn't, is a site to pursue any agendas. It's not there to attack or destroy the Amiga community as some will no doubt claim. WP will continue its satire on anyone, anything, or any company without bias, wherever the opportunity for fun arises. If the Amiga community cannot bear the burden of humour, then it's already dead.

Hehe, the Amiga Inc Ink (http://pulp.2y.net/news/index.php?module=announce&ANN_user_op=view&ANN_id=35) article was hilarious! :-) :-D

For those who intentionally missed it, above the comments are the meaningful words:

The comments are owned by the poster. We are not responsible for its content.

Also notice that when WP staff choose to comment that their nicks are used, and not "anonymous". Ergo, the snapping, name spoofing, whining, bickering and general lameness in certain comments comes from people who are not staff of WrongPla.net. Any assumptions to the contrary may just get lampooned.

@KennyR

No, didnt intentionally miss it but I did actually miss it. Thanks for putting me straight on that.

This just in:

HUMOR-IMPAIRED DRONERS PRESENT LANDSCAPES OF UNRELENTING GRAYNESS TO AMIGA.ORG READERS - EXODUS DEEMED IMMINENT

In their quest to clearly delineate to Unbelievers just what is black, and what is white, the unremittant droners mistakenly spilled their fingerpaint. A gloppy, sticky mess of bleak grays soon ate up formerly cheery Amiga.org spaces. Upon seeing what they had done, one of the droners remarked,

"I guess we will have to have a mass exodus from here. It's bleak and it's GRAY, and gloppy and sticky. Who wants to hang around this MESS? I know I don't! - that's why several times I've left FOREVER from these forums of FUDmongers, red trolls, liars, and BAD webmasters and moderators. I'd leave again FOREVER, but first I have a divine mission to convert all the heathens."

Several forum viewers remarked that red and blue should make purple, but unfortunately too much black and white was used to see other colors at all. "It's bleak, it's bleak," said one onlooker. It probably won't be fun at all."

When attempts by others were not successful to take the thread back into color by investing it with vestigal humor, that earlier respondent exclaimed in his special strident chalkboard voice, "See - I told you! It's the lowest of lows. I ought to quit coming here forever again -"

LOL...speaking of which, DaveP I thought you left
amiga.org for good?? (not trolling, just an honest
question). In any case, for whatever reason, it's
good to see you back here.

I apologize.  Not for what I've said or my position, but because I've led this thread astray.

I'm very disappointed (with both sides), I thought all this bitterness between the two sides had ended, guess I was wrong.
