Title: Theme Park
Post by: mikey2001 on November 11, 2003, 10:46:46 PM
Does anyone know where I can obtain a copy of this brilliant game? I would look on eBay, but my credit card application was turned down.  :-(

It was rereleased on CD in 1998/1999. Maybe some retailers still have copies?

theme park was such a disapointment... no real longevity. all of my mates were in awe of the previews but i couldnt find one person who liked the game when they bought it.
Theme Hospital was much better but suffered from a similar problem after a few levels into the game.

oooooooh dont get me started on railroad tycoon...
That rollercoaster tycoon on the PC?!? i unistalled it minutes after playing the game....

they just felt soul-less games. a harsh criticism to make cos there isnt much advice you can give to improve it "give it a soul" or "make it better" doesnt seem to give any constructive criticism.

maybe the AGA or CD version on teh amiga is better... worth a shot

I do have the disk version of Theme Park AGA, but one of the disk is corrupted when I try to install it.  :-(

As my title says 'merely curious', read this:

I thought 'themes' were something you did in windows xp to make your desktop and style look different. So, if I installed theme hospital, I would have a green cross on my desktop?

How about this - with Theme Park, could I ride a rollercoaster from one part of my file system to the other?  :-D

What are you exactly implying, my friend? I am sane, and I have a medical report to prove it! Move along!

The Rollercoaster Tycoon games are the PC games I've probably played the most. I think they're two of the best PC games ever.

It's listed there, but you can't download it, unless I'm really stupid...

Edit: Just tempting fate there, aren't I? ;-)

What a cool dog!!! How old is he?

They are bizarre, yeah. The colour just can't be compared to anything else. As for yours being daft - well, its not just your Weim that's like that! Mine's a little wuss really - he cries when he's left alone, he comes and sits almost on you when he feels lonely.

What we need is Weimaraner.org  :-P

Not as cute as mine though, obviously!   :-D

Hes going to be 5 in 3 days.  Bet yours crosses his front legs like a tart yes?  Does he tuck himself into corners and sit down too (like a naughty child)?

Wonderful animals.  You heard of a guy called "William Wegman"?  Do a google.   Quite bizarre!

Wegman pics (http://images.google.co.uk/images?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=william+wegman&sa=N&tab=wi&meta=)

This (http://www.ancientcoyote.com/images/william_wegman_puppies_WS.jpg) one is my favourite though! :-P

I've just started playing Settlers again using WinUAE (Until I have room to setup the A4k back up). Such a quality game. I never got around to playing the levels before so I'm starting now.

Those pictures are bizarre! Thanks for the link.

Yes, he does all that you mention - the other thing he does is out his head on his chest and does this really camp sultry pout...
