Well, I searched the forums on this and couldn't find a match, so I'll go ahead and post. Anyone else out there having problems with the Indivision AGA not restarting when you reboot your 1200 with either the keyboard reboot or reset button? Is there a fix for this? I've already upgraded from firmware 1.4 to 1.5, which didn't help. Any recommendations I could try? Does reseating the unit fix this, or a mainboard wiring modification? Any information that would fix this would be great, because this side effect truly annoying as I have to power down my machine to get the Indivision to restart. Also I do know that its rebooting without it because my 2 gig CF drive accesses and I can hear my startup sound file play as the drive loads. Thanks.

Which accellerator card do you have in your Amiga 1200?
There are some isues with the Phase 5 Blizzard 1260 card with resetting.

I have similar behaviour, but Im not sure what is causing this. I also have an IDEfix express and blizzppc/060, expansions which are also famous for causing problems like this.

First of all, I have to thank you! You set my mind at peace, because now I know that the Indivision AGA isn't broken.
Mine behaves just like yours, sometimes after reboot OS 3,9 starts loading, but screen just gets black? Then I just have to reset from the power switch.
I have a Blizzard 1230 IV. -- Solution, anyone??-- :huh:

the card should be seen about every 8 out of 10 times.
i had many problems with it on one of my A1200 motherboard ended up swapping it around with another indivision from my other A1200 now works fine.
one way to test to see if it's ok is to give the A1200 a gentle tap to see if it drops out if it does remove it then push it back on.

On the German forum A1.org some users also have this problem:

I tested my onw Blizzard 1260 from DCE and it hasn't had the problem you have. My A1200 revision is 1D1.
@rvo_nl:
IDEfix express could cause problem with the Indivision. Some years ago I had to fix an A1200 in Tower with Zorro 3 board, Blizzard 1260 and a 4xIDE interface. There were very much problem with it to get it running. I tested this setup without that IDE interface and it always worked very well. I also have this interface, but couldn't get it work in some A1200's. That's the reason I use SCSI controllers.

I do have this same problem with my A1200 , it's equipped with E-Matrix 1230-50 accelerator. Otherwise this Indivision card is THE BEST Amiga hardware upgrade in long time for me! But it would be very nice to have some hack/patch to get rid of this annoying problem.

Does it only do it after the computer is warm?
For me, it was a contact problem after the computer had been on a while, which could be cured by gently pressing down on the Indivision during a reset. A small fan inside the case solved the problem completely.

Thanks, currently I have too many other things to worry about. But I will keep it in mind.
