Hey everyone,
Thanks again to the people who have offered help in my SCSI post. I have some more noob-like questions and I would appreciate anyone passing on their knowledge.
So, I have a stock A1200 and I'd like to use a standard PC VGA monitor. What do I need to do this and what am I looking for in a monitor? I assume the image quality will be better than simply hooking the A1200 up to a standard TV? Will using a VGA monitor cause problems with anything, like certain programs and such like that won't work?
I'm just hoping to get all the knowledge I can on the subject. Anything that anyone can chip in with will be greatly appreciated.
BTW, sorry if this has been answered to death, search told me VGA was too short or too common and the google results that came back were dated.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can offer advice

Shouldnt create problems but there's 2 ways you can go about this:
Firstly if you would like most monitors to work on your 1200 then you need to get a scandoubler / flickerfixer which are sadly, not cheap (Usually £80 - £100+ or $120 - $180+).
Or you can go for a monitor that scans to 15khz (I think thats the frequency). Commodore ones do along with some Nec and Sony "MultiSync" ones.
