Does anyone over here know how to disable that annoying screen that turboprefs generates when it is run. It opens a window showing registration info and you have to press OK everytime you want to go to its preferences.
Thanks

Registering it might work...

Put TurboStart into WBStartup. The info window only opens if TurboPrefs is started when TurboPrint if not yet running. If TP is started during startup and keeps running in the background, TurboPrefs does not show the info.

I have a registered version of Turboprint (7.60) , and I have Turbostart in WBStartup. Turboprefs still shows the info window.
I think it's simply not possible (at least in 7.60) to turn it off.

There is a Tooltype QUICK in TurboStart.
If you set this it works.

If you use the QUICK tooltype, it doesn't show the prefs window, so you can't change your settings. It just loads the default config file.

@motorollin
Turboprint shows that screen ONLY to registered users!
@Thomas, thanks, i will try your suggestion
@Thommys, i didnt know about that tooltype, will test it, and see what happens

Putting turbostart in wbstartup did not work as intended and the QUICk tooltype doesnt show the prefs window

@ All
TurboPrint should install TurboSpool and Turbostart into the WBStartup drawer.
It should be noted that on the AmigaOne having TurboSpool in the WBStartup drawer causes problems so delete it.
On my A1 and A1200 the splash screen shows if you double click TurboPrefs in the TurboPrint drawer. You then click OK to go into TurboPrefs to make any changes to Printer-ConFig-GFXSize etc.
Many months ago I and others have emailed Florian Zeiler @ ZEDONET.de who looks after TurboPrint for the Amiga and asked if there is going to be a version for OS4.x without a reply.

Thanks clint, but then there it seems no way of getting rid of that screen. I hope someone finds out a way!

Hi Gulliver
Are you using a registered version? Does the splash screen appear any other time than when you click on Turboprefs? I think you will find you need the splash screen it allows you to make those changes I mentioned in TurboPrefs
-
I am registered, the screen appears everytime i use turboprefs. In Morphos, which uses turboprint 7.60, that screen does not appear. That screen is a pain is the a*s.

Hi again Gulliver
After explaining how TurboPrefs runs on both my AmigaOne and A1200 the only other suggestion I can give you, as a registered user, is to email Florian Zeiler at ZEDOnet Gmgh via mail@zedonet.de and explain your problem there.
