I have two partitions on my A4000T's HDD. One partition contains WB3.1 and the other one was empty. I booted from WB3.1 and from CDROM I installed OS3.9 to the other partition. Then I removed 'bootable' from WB3.1 partition properties, and made the OS3.9 partition bootable.
When I now start the Amiga, which obviously should be booting from the OS3.9 partition, I only get a shell screen.
Help please :)
UPDATE: I have no startup-sequence file in my S folder in the OS39 partition O_o ....

perhaps it would have been better to have a basic workbench 3.1 installed on the empty partiton before installing 3.9 on it

Ok now I am trying from a boot disk.
Meanwhile another question.... How do I secure a CDROM drive to the A4000T's chassis?! I dont see any holes where to put the screws in O_O

Ok, OS3.9 installed succesfully.
Next REALLY annoying problem. How am I supposed to secure the CDROM to the tower chassis?!? There are no holes for screws in the tower!

You need drive rails (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170408537842&rvr_id=&crlp=1_263602_263622&UA=WXF%3F&GUID=afeae56b1240a0265396e316ffac83eb&itemid=170408537842&ff4=263602_263622) for an Enlight case.

Google "englight drive rails". They're far more common now than they were a few years ago.

I found some cheap plastic ones at the local computer/electronics shop and cut them to size. The chap who had my first A4000T before me just velcroed it in ;)
