Title: CD-Rom Icon
Post by: sjprohaska on November 26, 2009, 08:02:34 AM
After pulling out my hair, reading through many posts, and bending a pin in my A1200's pcmcia slot, I now have my squirrel card and cd-rom up and running.  I've noticed that once mounted, you only see an icon when a disc is inserted.  Is there anyway to add a desktop icon that pops up whenever a the drive is mounted?

Thanks

The pin bending was an accident.  I managed to bend it back.  I included it in my post to illustrated my frustrating journey getting the squirrel and cd rom drive to work.

Workbench shows icons only for volumes, not for drives. You won't get an icon for the floppy drive, either.
