Title: x-amiga/e-uae cdrom configuration
Post by: mitchd61 on November 26, 2009, 12:21:49 AM
Can anyone tell me how to configure x-amiga/e-uae for cdrom access? I ran through setup with no problems and added USB access by editing .uaerc. Everything works but the cd. In .uaerc there are the following lines:

#SCSI emulation options
scsi=true
scsi_device=/dev/cdrom

I assume its something with CD0: on the Amiga side as when it's mounted the drive does spin and when an icon does appear (usually on the Dopus screen) it says CD0:NDOS. It also causes the mouse pointer to "stick". So something is definitely not right. With the drive not mounted or mounted and no disk in it, everything runs perfectly. Any ideas?

Seems I have managed to find a workable solution to the problem. A few Linux tutorials did wonders! I don't know if it is the ideal solution, but it seems to work so far. If anyone is interested let me know and I'll post the details.

I am very curious as well. Has anyone successfully installed x-amiga and got it to boot properly?
